Wellness camp at the Nilgiri Hills

Community wellness camps held for indigenous communities on 2nd & 3rd April, 2016 at Kotagiri, Sholurmattam and Sigur by Keystone Foundation. The aim of the camps was first and foremost to provide wellness services related to emotional health to the indigenous communities as these are conditions that very often go unrecognized and therefore untreated.

This was the first of its kind camp held at the hill. The camp also helped the project teams to make an assessment of the prevalence of pyschosomatic conditions and possible precipitating factors within indigenous communities. A total of 28 people came to the camp.
