WFTO Biennial Conference in India

We are happy to announce that FTF-I will be co-hosting the WFTO Biennial Conference 2017. MoU was signed on 07th April, 2016.

Rudi Dalvai, President, WFTO and Natalai, Chief Executive, WFTO, visited India to understand the ground work to be done for the conference and had a fruitful meeting with team FTF-I. We are expecting more than 300 participants from 50 countries across 5 continents in November 2017. Indian Fair Trade fraternity will meet the people from across the world. Along with the Conference we’ll be celebrating the World Fair Trade Week also.

We are expecting to make it a great event for the Fair Trade fraternity, all the activities will run in a very positive and stimulating atmosphere. Our team alongwith the team of WFTO have already started working for the conference.

To make it a grand success the work has already been started for deciding the assignments for the Biennial Conference 2017. A meeting was held in the month of March at TARA Office, which was attended by Rudi Dalvai, President, WFTO, Natalia Leal, Chief Executive, WFTO, Roopa Mehta, Board Member, WFTO with FTF-I team, Mallikarjuna Iytha, President, Pradeep Krishnappa, Vice President, Meenu Chopra, Executive Director, Sadhna Arya, Program Manager.
