We are pleased to share that FTF-I is selected and empanelled with Ministry of Textiles under Integrated Skill Development Scheme (ISDS). With this, FTF-I is in the league of other big companies and perhaps one among the very few NGOs that were selected by GOVT for this PPP Project. Thanks to our consortium partners Janhit Kalyan Karyakari Shiksha Samiti (JKKSS) & Foresight Society For Human Resources and Development (FS-HRD) for joining us in this endeavor and helping FTF-I to get qualified. FTF-I is the project holder and Lead partner of the Consortium. This will provide huge opportunities for our members who are interested to enter into Skilling initiatives.
As a part of the scheme we’ll be providing training to the aspiring job seekers in textiles industry. Soon we’ll be initiating selection process of FTF-I members as part of the project. We will be conducting a workshop soon for orienting the interested organisations towards the project.
FTF-I will be working actively with the member organizations in setting up of the Training Centres. We are very excited to take our members to come on board and more updates will be shared with you soon.
The basic criteria to set up the training centre are, you must have at least 30 sewing machines at the centre. The minimum machine requirement includes, ten stitching machines, two button hole machines and two buttoning machines.
The classroom must be equipped with study chairs, dias for the trainer, white board, LCD projector screen, computer/laptop connected to the LCD with speakers. Internet facility should be available at the centre. Interested members will be given further details for the enrollment of the training centre. If infrastructure is ready but lab set up is not there, then also you can apply. (Provided you are willing to invest in that once your center is selected)
