Sarba Shanti Ayog initiated an Enterprise Development Programme, especially tailor-made for the requirements of the differently abled trainees and their parents.
Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy (IICP) approached SSA to conduct a series of workshops on “Enterprise Orientation” and ‘Business Skill Development’. The participants were provided with a clear idea about the formation of small businesses, collectives, a basic on business skills and different avenues of marketing.
The parents of the differently abled young adults desire to start businesses with their existing craft skills, which their children are learning in the vocational training unit of IICP. The workshop concluded with a future Plan of Action for a year. The participants showed keen interest to form a small business group along with their children (differently abled young adults).
